A goal post is missing. Imagine what this game would be without goals.

Similarly, what would your life be without goals?

The same goes for investing too. Many simply invest without a goal and keep doing random things without any rules, constraints and most importantly without any art and science. Others look at the Market Indexes and invest. Thus, the investing experience of most people is subpar. 

Sensex at 50000 will be considered to be a landmark number by many but it is just a number. Do not confuse this number with your goals, financial planning, and real investing. This number is not your Benchmark.
